What a fun and spooky drawing you have to color! This zombie is waiting for you to bring it to life with your colors and lots of creativity. Here are some tips to make your zombie terrifyingly awesome:

Colors:

  • Zombie skin: Zombie skin is usually greenish, gray, or even purple, since they are “half decomposed.” You can use pale green or grayish-green to give it that classic zombie look. If you feel more daring, mix in some blue or purple to make it even more terrifying!
  • Worn-out clothes: The zombie’s clothes can be dull or dirty colors, like browns, grays, or dark greens. You can add mud stains or tears on the shirt by using brown and black tones to make it look more realistic.
  • Eyes: Zombie eyes can be white or yellowish to give them a spooky look, as if they’re very tired from walking for years and years!
  • Background: If you want the house in the background to look more mysterious, you can use dark colors like purple or black for the sky, and dark tones for the trees and house. This will make your zombie stand out even more!

Techniques:

  • Shading: Add some shading with a gray or black pencil on the lower parts of the body and face to give the zombie depth. You can also darken the bottom of the clothes or the folds to make them look very dirty and old.
  • Textures: If you want the zombie’s skin to look more “rotten,” use a soft pencil to make small dots or irregular lines to give it a worn-out texture.

Extra materials:

  • Glitter or stickers: If you want to add something special, use glitter glue to make the eyes shine or around the house, as if it’s a magical zombie!
  • Neon markers: If you have fluorescent markers, you can use them to highlight some details of the drawing, like the eyes or the house lights.

Fun facts about zombies:

Did you know that zombies are legendary creatures that have appeared in stories from around the world? People believe that zombies are humans who came back to life after being buried. But don’t worry, they’re just fictional characters! In many movies and cartoons, zombies walk really slowly and always seem hungry—especially for brains!

With these colors and techniques, your zombie will be ready for its next spooky adventure. Have fun coloring!
