Ash is a Pokémon trainer. This means his job is to care for and train Pokémon, like Pikachu, to become stronger and compete in battles against other Pokémon. Pikachu is a special electric Pokémon. It can use electric attacks like Thunderbolt. The most beautiful thing about their friendship is that, although Pikachu wasn’t too sure about Ash at first, they eventually became best friends.
They protect each other and share many adventures.

To color a picture of Ash and Pikachu, consider their most characteristic colors. Pikachu is bright yellow with red cheeks, where he stores his electricity. His eyes are black, and he has a bit of brown at the base of his ears. Ash, on the other hand, usually wears a cap that has changed color throughout the different series but is often red and white. His clothes also change, generally including shades of blue, black, and white.
A funny anecdote from the Pokémon universe is that Pikachu didn’t want to go inside his Poké Ball at first. This shows how much he loves being outside and exploring the world with Ash. There’s also a very cute episode where Pikachu encounters a group of wild Pikachu and has to decide whether to stay with them or stick with Ash. In the end, Pikachu chooses to stay with Ash, demonstrating their strong friendship.
