A “dunk” is when a basketball player jumps so high that they slam the ball directly into the hoop with one or two hands. It’s like flying for a few seconds! 💥

It’s one of the most exciting moves in basketball and often makes the whole crowd shout, “Wooooow!”

Michael Jordan: They called him “Air Jordan” because he seemed to float in the air. His dunk from the free-throw line is legendary.
